Converse: Live, Word, Introspect

Written and Performed by Emanuelee BeanTexas

storytelling, stand-up, improv, poetry, 90 min.

“Converse” is a one-man show with two characters; Outspoken Bean and the audience, where the literal conversations happen between a scripted show about his life growing up as a military brat, heartbreak, personal mistakes, and internal dialogue. Bean’s work has been called “Brilliant” by Robert Wilson, and Artnet Magazine said that “his words hit with the sustained force of a young James Earl Jones delivering King Lear.” Converse is a funny, blunt, and unashamed performance of spoken-word and theatre. Photo by Marlon Hall.
