This play dramatizes the relationship between two sisters—one with Down syndrome. Dreams, personal anecdotes, and mythical fables are interwoven to explore what being “delayed” and “special” means. Several trips to Disney highlight the narrator’s interior experience of a perpetual “Neverland.” Humor is often used to reveal emotions that occur in all families including anger, joy, jealousy, love, resentment, and loss. Playwright: Dianne Bilyak. Director: Sherri Eden Barber.
