“Sticks and Stones” is a musical about bullying, originally commissioned by the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts (NY) with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Justice. The play tells the story of four adolescents and two adults and how they cope with the critical impact of bullying. “Sticks and Stones” is a story about multiple perspectives — as the characters’ worlds collide, the play captures the authenticity of adolescent crisis and peer pressure and explores the power of the not-so-innocent bystander. Director: Stephanie Turner. Recommended for: children, teenagers, adults, theatre community, LGBT community. Links: artist, video, facebook, review.
