Venus & Adonis

Performed by Misha BouvionCalifornia

drama, poetry, classic, 50 min.

Shakespeare’s Venus & Adonis tells the story of what happens when Venus is rejected. Through the course of re-telling her story of unrequited love and loss we see a powerful sexual God, reduced to a vulnerable, heartbroken woman. A story anyone who has loved and lost can relate to. This production proves how funny & sexy Shakespeare can be. Director: David Mancini. Photo by Rachel Owens.
