“Oedipus” is an original play inspired by Sophocles’ “Oedipus Rex,” written and directed by award-winning playwright Walter Ventosilla. Emely Grisanty, the featured actress portrays eight roles in this minimalist production. The first of its kind on a NY stage, the story is performed by a solo Hispanic female who effortlessly transitions into and out of seven male and one female roles.
