Peace is not a political event; it is a personal choice to conquer fear. This show explores a young girl's balancing act between her Middle Eastern heritage and her Jewish-American culture. Confronting her upbringing, she reveals a timely story of a family’s love, dysfunction and redemption set against the backdrop of Brooklyn in the 1920's and Iraq and Israel in the 1940's. Director: Brian Kite. Creative Consultant: Lauren Cohn. Sound Design: Daniel Tator. Recommended for: Jewish community, Middle Eastern community. Links: artist, video.
