A 10-year-old girl juggles her career on the Perry Como TV Show in 1957 with the demands of her Rockette stage mother. She deals with gender confusion on this bumpy ride, facing mortality from major health issues and encountering her alter ego Billy along the way. She tells her story through tap-dancing, physical comedy, monologue and song.
