La Voix Perdue

Performed by Bridget HoganCanada

Sun 10/4 6:00pm

music, classic, 49 min.

Our soprano reminisces about poverty, dysfunction, and the great artistic heights where she performed on glamorous world stages with resounding orchestras, sumptuous theatrical sets, and tales of love, triumph, tragedy, and poignant deaths. Later, she backpacked solo across India to Calcutta’s House of the Dying. Now her voice falters. She lives the irony of her own muted tragedy. Director: Peter Skoggard. Conductor & Pianist: Charles Prestinari. Stage Manager: Jenny Lazer. Videographer: Trish Dalton. Recommended for: opera aficionados, human rights interests, musical theater lovers, women's right issues.
