A much disrespected wife in 1914 Kolkata, India writes a farewell letter to her husband. Based on a story by Rabindranath Tagore, this play renders in heartbreaking detail the pathological patriarchy that pervaded the culture of its day, and reminds audiences of misogyny in contemporary US culture.
