“Mami, What’s Your 20?” follows Nadeen, a Nuyorican single mother of two living in Los Angeles, who is on a mission to pass her Class A test in order to provide for her family. Along the way she reminisces about the women who helped shape her life and the adversaries and triumphs she’s experienced throughout her journey. A Spanglish dramedy, “Mami, What’s Your 20?” is a heartfelt autobiographical story that will have you laughing, crying and dancing in your seat.
“Mami, What’s Your 20?” received notable commentary during a successful six-week run at the Whitefire Theatre in Los Angeles in September 2023. Read the review here. The play was given closing honors for the Solofest 2024, the largest solo theater festival in the West Coast.
