Dearly Departed is a slightly too autobiographical story taken to another level. When a young woman, who is twice a widow, suddenly finds herself in a coma, she is given the rare choice of life or death… However, after losing so many loved ones in the real world, will she make the choice to join them in another?
The story follows a young woman whose love life reads like an obituary. Her constant denial of her own grief is what she lives with daily until she unexpectedly finds herself facing death herself. Suddenly stuck in ‘the in-between’, she finds herself with the choice; does she go back to her life or decide this is the end? Running into people from her past, present and potential future, to help her come to a decision.
A comedically dark story about life, love, loss, and all the nonsense in between.
