As we close out our 19th season and look ahead to the start of our 2nd decade, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the artists who inspire us. This two-act gala evening begins with a performance by Vice Artistic Director Wendy-Lane Bailey, directed by Founder/Artistic Director Omar Sangare and featuring the music of Michele Brourman. Act II brings the presentation of awards to outstanding festival artists and culminates in the bestowal of the United Solo Special Award. The Special award is given to a renowned artist outside the festival whose work has set the standard for solo artists worldwide.
