It’s the opening day of The Honorable Herbert Peabody Library and Legacy Center. A well-intentioned tour guide named Joe faces an increasingly disgruntled tour group while trying to juggle a Senator’s lofty legacy with his recently revealed litany of sex scandals. As the tour unravels, Joe gains a new understanding of his own actions and must decide whether he’ll stand idly by or finally stand on the right side of history.
The Honorable Herbert Peabody is a captivating solo show that blends physical humor and insightful satire, making audiences laugh and reflect on their own roles in creating a more perfect union. This unique theatrical experience is a fictional story inspired by real events, offering no direct commentary on the current political landscape, but rather, following a well-intentioned but misguided fool who uncovers the dangers of excusing inappropriate behavior from one’s favorite celebrity, politician, or those close to us, and is not confined to any one political party.
With compassion and humor, The Honorable Herbert Peabody inspires candid conversations about accountability, responsibility, and the balance of power.
