Making its American premiere, “”Last Year’s Eve”” is an original work by Zachary Kazepis, a Melbourne-based actor, writer, and musician. The play explores themes of identity, friendship, family, and isolation. It delves into the past, the present, and an unknown future.

It is a story about finding home.

“…A heart-rending story of displacement.” – Melbourne Observer

“…Exceptionally constructed and portrayed…”★★★★½ – Artshub

“Last Year’s Eve is a moving and beautiful contemplation on the meaning of ‘home.’ It is something that most of us take for granted, yet it is vital to many displaced people around the world. Zachary Kazepis takes us on this journey with a gentle whisper of grief rather than a shout of protest… a whisper that is audible and embraced by the audience!””- Dr. Liz Jones, AO, La Mama Theatre
