The Book of Shame is exactly what the title implies: It’s a story of one man’s shame. How it affected him physically, emotionally and spiritually. It’s about guts. Literally and figuratively. Like… Have you ever had a stomachache where it’s like the four horse men of the apocalypse ride into your stomach on horses with machetes for feet? And they’re romping and chopping? Ya know…like galloping and chopping? Really hard? With their sharp, machete feet!? And riding on their backs is a gang of overweight, angry, right wing, psychopathic chainsaw sculptor’s and they’re creating an installation about the birth of hatred inside you? You ever have that? That’s what this show will feel like. Only funnier. It will feel like getting tickled by sharp scissors, only it won’t hurt. Much.
